I did the recent event, and found myself the proud owner of sparkly bamboo… lol It is kinda cool looking and a nice addition to my Mog House. Also, interestingly enough.. its Moghancement is Money… same as the Hoary Spire I got at New Years….. I’m sensing a pattern in this years event furnishings… hmm. The bad part is I have too many other items in my Mog House that I love, and am not willing to get rid of to make my main Moghancement be Money.. so I guess I will just have to be happy with that they are pretty to look at.. lol Afterall… money isn’t everything! ^^
So after many.. many… many hours of farming, I finally bought my Noble’s Tunic yesterday. I got it for cheaper too, which made me even that much more happy. Now to just get the two and a half levels I need to be able to wear it.. lol It felt very good to get this purchase out of the way. It was also kind of helpful in that it feels like I accomplished something. I never thought I would ever be able to make enough gil to get it, but it happened.. course now I’m broke again, but what else is new.. lol
Goals are good, and they are that much sweeter when you stick to a plan and reach them.
After I got my Noble’s Tunic, I decided to play my Bluemage for a little bit. I was level 23. I ended up getting to level 24 in not to long down at Yughotto Grotto, where I had been farming a lot lately. No one is usually there and if they are, they are usually running through to go to a BCNM. So its kinda nice and quiet. Plus the fact you get gil from Orcs is nice too.
Here is a picture of a recent farming session.
My favorite Orcs to go after are the Orcish Cursemakers, because they drop not only armor and keys, but every once in awhile you get a Shaman Garlic. Two Shaman Garlic’s get you 900 gil in North Sandy, it is for a repeatable quest.
