I ended up having a really good night last night and met a few new friends in the Rappelz game. I so much enjoy meeting nice people!! Especially here, because I feel rather alone most of the time. Katella has been soloing more than anything. There are some nice people in my guild too, I appreciate them, but one thing is that I really don’t like feeling like a burden, and don’t like asking people to take time out to help me with stuff.
I might just see though if maybe people have some of the same quests open and try to tackle them that way, rather then on my own because appearently people like to PK Cleric’s because they know they aren’t usually good fighters… Which.. drives me crazy.
I’ve been really looking at the skills, and I really wish there was a way to max out most of them. I think if I did that, I wouldn’t be such an easy target, but the ironic part of it, is that to do that, would take a long time, and I would have to delevel on purpose so that my Job level and character level stayed close to the same. Luckily you don’t loose Job points when you get defeated.
Katella is now a 31 Cleric and has been spending a lot of time in the Blue Pixie area hoping to get a Blue Pixie card, which is really rare, and on top of it all, even once you get the card, it may or may not work when you try and tame it. People charge millions and millions of rupees for empty ones, and I don’t have anything near that so the only way I’ll get one is to farm it myself. I did end up getting a Healing card I could equip, as well as a defense cube that I applied to my armor. The added frustration is that once you are 10 levels higher, mobs stop dropping anything for you I’m told, so these next few levels are really my only chance to get a card.
Another odd thing is that no matter what I do, Katella’s stamina never really increases. Stamina gets you extra exp & JP I think, and for whatever reason, mine won’t ever go up.. I even log out in town and sit in town. Its strange that they almost punish you for wanting to actively play your character. When I login, I don’t want to sit in town.. I want to go do things.. Ah well.. I guess it lets me level slower so I can work on upgrading those skills I was talking about earlier…
