A huge thank you to my LS party – Mini Ninja, Latian, Exotica, Lucife, Lucia , Andrien and for our Japanese friend Momo who joined us on an adventure to get my Bard AF pants. Yay! I’m so glad to have it finished. lol!
Cutter’s cry reminds me of Quicksand caves in FFXI, but with interesting twists. There are sand traps that steal your MP, and others that drag you back to the beginning of the dungeon. More strategic than some of the things I’ve experienced in this game so far. It has certain conditions that you have to meet in order for you to end up in the location where the AF spawns are. I would definitely suggest taking a look at the information on this before you try this run, or else you may be totally lost. Thank goodness we had LS member Andrien along who knew what to do! I had found a map earlier, but I am not able to play in windowed mode, so was not able to go back and look at it.
As you can see, there is a bit going on in this dungeon. (I don’t take credit for this map, it was something I found, I’ll try and find it again to post credit up here later).
We were successful though, and I was able to finally get my Bard AF pants! Bard AF 4/5! Thanks again guys!
We did a few AF runs that day and was able to get a Dragoon AF piece for Sky Killer, and one other piece for another one of my LS members (Kind of think it was a whm piece for Lucife, but I totally am not sure … ack.. I’m sorry, I’ve slept since then.) In any case, congrats all around!
After those, we decided to do an Ifrit Prime run. Now I’d done the small fight, but hadn’t experienced the Primal yet, so this was my first time. I tried with the team 3 attempts before I got family aggro and had to go to bed.. lol.
It was really fun to get the opportunity.. my schedule doesn’t allow me as much playtime as many of my LS members, and yet they are so awesome when it comes to inviting me anyway. They plain just making things so much fun! I so appreciate you all! Thank you Distant World LS!
