- Never leave a dungeon without checking your loot list
- Always have space in your inventory when doing a dungeon run… even if its just a quick AF run for something else, and you aren’t expecting to get any items.
I’m so bummed, last night helped a couple LS members do a Darkhold run, and had been crafting before so was full to the gills with crafting items. Finished the run, people are all saying “Congrats” to everyone that had gotten their AF, someone said congrats to me and I just assumed they were either being funny or thought I had gotten AF too. As I’m returning out of the dungeon I see a message:
“You throw away a Alpine War Jacket”
Dang it! I’ve always wanted one of those! Really wanted it for my archer.😦
Ah well, you live you learn I guess. ><
In other news, the last two weeks had been pretty nice.
Had a crash course session in tanking four different AF body fights. Only because no regular tanks were available and at the time I was 49. I’m by no means a proper tank, but by the end of the session I was starting to kind of know what to do… I think.. lol. I helped with body AF fights for BLM, DRG, & BRD.
In the days following, I continued working on my WAR with Mini Ninja & Blindrage, and we all three got to level 50 & got all our AF pieces.
With my LS, I was finally able to finish out “To Kill A Raven”, and then finished up the “Living on a Prayer” quest as well. Obtained the crazy dalamud’s horn and Azeyma’s Ring. Neither are real impressive items, just things that signify you’ve completed the story line. It had been a really fun night. I really love my LS members. They are so much fun!
Currently working on leather worker, am now level 28. This one is kind of tedious, we’ll see how it goes. I just want to be able to fix my gear.. and maybe make the gryphonskin top for my archer, since the Alpine War Jacket was not meant to be.. …. *sniff*
