This week I got the opportunity to help some FC members get their main story objectives complete. I actually like being able to do this, and having a reason to go back and do some of the things that we’d done in the past. I remember when Philosophy was “the token”.. and spending many hours running Castrum Meridianum and Praetorium over and over to get darklight pieces… How things have changed even in the past few months!
I don’t really go back and do story mode stuff much on my own, but its fun going with FC members, and I was able to come along on three different runs of people needing story mode elements. 🙂
Even ended up getting the scholar book from Garuda in the process! That was very cool!
I actually made it out to an Odin event… for the first time in what seems like forever!
Got to hang around with a some friends… Here’s Cutie and I with our Magician’s Hats…
Chatting with my Kan-E-Senna and Mini Ninja’s Merlwyb… lol
Visiting with Sunny on his alt…. ^^
Then had the great pleasure of welcoming Sunny back home on his main!
He ended up coming to an extra practice run of Turn 6 (SBCoB Turn 1) we had!
I had only been in there once before, but this particular practice run was by far the most useful and actually helpful!
No it wasn’t perfect, and for some it was their very first time in there.. but it was very fun and educational.
Thanks so much Sunny! Its so nice when you are doing these runs to go with people who are willing to listen as well as offer helpful and calm suggestions. Who are willing to understand that its the first time for some, and that its ok to not be perfect no matter how many “videos” or “strategy guides” you’ve watched or read… or even how many times you’ve “done” it with other parties.
People forget that each and every party is different and that people starting from scratch may need a little time. Working together rather as a team is more important, and honestly far more satisfying than if you choose to work only as an “individual”.
Things I learned….
#1 I like the run through method. – Less damage taken from thorn patches and quicker ability to get back into position.
#2 I very much appreciate waypoint markers so that when you get turned around, you can quickly know where to go.
While standing around in North Shroud I got to drool over many pieces of High Allagan. Here is my turn 7 goal.. lol! I love that robe so much!!
This week, I got my behemoth mount. ^^
A few of us enjoying the view from way up there.. lol…
Worked on my second Atma Book. ^^ Got into Stone Vigil and the tank left before I even zoned in.. >< However, these Japanese players were actually pretty cool, and we trio’d up until the first boss when a tank finally joined us.
Spent some time actually working on my lancer as well! ^^
Talking about “new” things… I actually ended up tanking Stone Vigil! O.o Here I am with Nicos, Cutie, and a random whitemage that was here for the first time. ^^
Getting back to the house, it seemed that our FC member Carbuncle Rubylight may have wandered into the secret room with the cloning machine!
